I'm sure it was when my dh was out of town once and I was in the basement watching tv. When I went to bed I turned off the tv and then it turned back on by itself. I turned it off again, it turned on again. Once more I turned it off and started up the stairs when once again I heard it turn back on. I ran back into the room and unplugged the tv, ran upstairs as fast as I could and shut the door. I didn't even want to know if it came back on again after that.
Mine is when we first moved in to our house that we live in now. I could never shake the feeling that when I was coming up the stairs from the laundry room that something was always coming up the stairs behind me. I mean that went on for the longest time, and forget about being alone in the dark. Then one day about a year or so later, it just stopped... hmmm wierd right? Or maybe I'm just paranoid lol!

When I was a kid, I was convinced the attic was haunted. Whenever I was up there, things would fall down and I'd hear strange noises out of nowhere. I don't know anything about the previous owners but I am still convinced something spooky happened in that attic before we moved in.
