I was never horse obsessed like most girls are when they are preteens, so I wasn't exactly thrilled by the idea of riding a horse. In fact, I was terrified! Even though I only went on this trail at a walk with a bunch of other beginners, I just had to get the horse that WOULD NOT do what I wanted him to do. I have not ridden a horse since then.

I posted about the contest here: http://paradoxrevealed.blogspot.com/2008/12/official-contest-list.htmlParadoxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05079964912873947188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4697130478224039360.post-90763047095004153402009-01-18T06:13:00.000-08:002009-01-18T06:13:00.000-08:00That is so nice! It was a bay quarter horse mix and they called him Shiloh. He hadn't been ridden since she was born (so for about 12 years) and no attention was really paid to him. So she decided to "give" him to me. I couldn't take him home so what I did was looked at all my training books and went over to her house after school. We made treats and got him to lead and everything. We even got out his records and found out that his real name was "Sacred Dream".

Now I'm not really close to her anymore so I don't go there but man, I loved that horse.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4697130478224039360.post-31162938985326630082009-01-15T14:27:00.000-08:002009-01-15T14:27:00.000-08:00Super cool idea!
